Where/ Real r/c and fasthobby
When/ oct. 3rd sat. Track opens at 8am races start at 1pm
Practice from 8:30-noon. Drivers meeting at 12:30
Classes- 2wd sprint open
2wd late model open
4wd late model open
2wd dirt modifed open
2wd 1/18 open
2wd offroad buggy open
2wd offroad truck open
2wd stock slash{ offroad rules apply}
2wd Novice { any 2wd 1/10} open
There will trophys for the top three in in each A main. 1st place trophy for winner of each B main. Five raffle tickets for C main and lower mains winners.
Tickets can be bought for one dollar each also for drawing. Drawing will be for a new spektum radio and more. Races will be 5min. long. 4 rounds rounds.
Qual. points will be used since my track my be faster or slower later. I will take the top 8 drivers to each main. No bump ups.
Entrys will be 30.00 for 1st/ 20.00 for 2nd/ 15.00 for third/ 5.00 for forth.
Also,,,,,, FRIDAY NIGHT,,, OVAL CLUB racing. Opens at 5pm races start at 7pm 2 rounds and then mains. 10.00 entry fee 5.00 for 2nd and free for third.
The track will be made special for this race with banking on both ends.

Opening day for Outdoor racing will be Saturday, April 4th.  Practice starts at 11:00 AM, Racing starts at 2:00 PM.  If weather is bad, we will race indoors instead.

Announcing Saturday, March 21 will be our first 3 hour enduro race.

It will consist of 3 man race teams up to 15 teams for a total of 45 drivers per class. There will be two enduro races on Saturday - a Slash class and a 2WD class. The Slash race sign ups are at Noon and racing begins at 3:00 PM. 2WD class will consist of trucks and/or buggies. The 2WD class sign ups will start at 3:30 PM and the race will start at 6:45 PM.

Cost will be $15 per driver with $5 going to a pot for the winning team. The teams will be drawn out of a hat. For example if 30 people sign up, the top 10 drivers will be put into a hat. The slowest 10 drivers will be drawn out of another hat and then the remaining 10 drivers will be drawn out of a final hat. This way each team will have 1 fast driver, 1 slow driver, and 1 medium driver. Each driver will velcro one transponder in each car as they switch drivers.

Don't be late for team sign ups or you might miss out!!!

LiveRC.com IS BACK!!!

That's right! Thanks to Josh Hale, we are back up and running on LiveRC.com! Wednesday racing will be live scoring only, however this Saturday we will be featuring LIVE scoring, audio, and possibly video feed as well! For those of you unable to make it out, or for those who want to watch your racing from home....stay tuned to all of the racing action by going to LiveRC.com and following the instructions below.

STEP 1 - Log onto www.liverc.com
STEP 2 - Click "View Broadcast English"
STEP 3 - Click "Real R/C & Fastlane Hobbies" from Local Event Menu
STEP 4 - Click the "View Racing" tab.

Once the screen has loaded, you should be hooked up to all the live action!

REMINDER: - SATURDAY (January 17th) the track will be opening at 11am, and racing STARTS at 3pm!!!
In order to run LiveRC.com we have updated to the latest scoring software. Each driver will need to sign up with ALL information (Name, Class, Channel/Freq., Transponder #) starting Wednesday, January 14, 2009.

 

ATTENTION 1/10 TRUCK DRIVERS!
Starting Wednesday, January 14 - 13.5 Brushless motors are now LEGAL to run in our Stock Truck class! Those of you who are used to running 13.5 motors, are now welcomed into the Real R/C Stock Truck class!

ATTENTION 1/10 4WD DRIVERS!
Starting Saturday, January 17 – There will be a new 4WD SS 10.5 brushless motor class


ATTENTION SLASH OWNERS & DRIVERS!
We now offer 2 seperate Stock Slash classes (Novice and Expert Stock Slash). Both classes require stock motors, speed controls, ect., however, the addition of the Novice Class has allowed new drivers to join the racing scene!

R/C RACING YOUNGSTERS DISCOUNT!
Any driver under the age of 15 receives $5 off the regular $15.00 first class entry fee!

WOW!!!  110 entries.  That was our BIGGEST club race night in Real-RC indoor history!!!  Hillbilly sends a BIG thanks to everyone for coming out to enjoy some awesome racing. 

Don’t forget because of the holiday we will be racing this Monday the 29th instead of our normal race day on Wednesday.

The Indoor Grand Opening was a HUGE Success.  Pictures are here.  We had a fantastic day of racing.  Pits were open and it was awesome!!!  Racing started at 5:00 PM and ended shortly after 10:00 PM.  There were just under 50 entries.  The Slash clash at the end was an amazing event.  It gave the marshals a workout, but I am sure every racer had a blast.  Steve kept the track watered all night so traction was not a problem.  In fact I had too much traction in the main if that is possible.  :)  The 4WD class is where the fast guys were at.  They are amazingly fast.  It was enough for me just to watch them.  The racing director made me nervous just listening to him call that race.  If you have yet to go, then you need to do yourself a favor and get out there soon.  If you are new to racing or do not want to spend a lot of money for indoor offroad, then check out the Traxxas Slash.  For only $200 you can have ready to run truck.  Just add a battery and charger and you are set.  This Wednesday the track will be open for the first Wednesday night race.  Racing starts at 7:00 PM.  Next Saturday, track opens at Noon and racing starts at 5:00 PM.  There will be no practice this Monday.
