| This Friday Steve would like some help pulling pipe after the race. This Friday will be the last club race on the current layout. The following weekend August 15 and 16, the track will be closed while many racers go to Lincoln, Nebraska. The following Friday, August 22 will be the first club race on the new track layout. The week after that, August 30th will be the Missouri RC Pro Series Finals. |

| BIG NEWS!!!! Real RC together with Fastlane Raceway will be having indoor off road electric this winter at the Fastlane Raceway in Blue Springs, MO. Track should be ready to race on by late October. |

| The Ian Crabtee Benefit Race was a total success. We raised lots of dollars for the Crabtree Family and had a great time of racing. More details to come soon. Results are posted here |

WOW, what an awesome club race last night. We had quite the race in the A main with names like Matt Gosch, Jared Tebo, and Taylor James. Results are posted.

I just got off the phone with Steve. All day Friday July 4th will
be practice till 6:00 PM when we will have a club race consisting of 2
qualifiers and a main with Fireworks
to follow after the race.
Then on Saturday we will have the annual Midwest Truck Challenge. HPI is sponsoring this event and giving away lots of prizes. 2 - HPI E-Firestorm 1/10

We had an incredible turn out for the Missouri Pro Series. Over 90

A fellow racer and friend to Real RC, Mike Crabtree recently got the
news that his son Ian has been diagnosed with Leukemia. You may
already know Mike or seen his work. He is the owner of Five Spoke
Films. He has taken videos at lots of tracks around the country.
Real RC is planning a benefit race for Ian Crabtree. We will have several raffles for various RC cars and accessories. The date for the benefit race and raffle drawings will be July 19th. Ian is home and doing well but showing signs of his treatments. For the most recent news please visit his blog. http://iancrabtree.blogspot.com/ There has been a Fund setup for Ian so anyone who wants to can donate. We are waiting on the info to do this right now. Once it is completed there will be a donation button generated in Paypal on RC Pro and Real RC websites. | What a Good Friday of racing. (pun intended) It was a great start to the season. Track was awesome. Looking forward to next Saturday already. Race results are posted, now including qualifiers. Please give me feedback if the extra information is wanted. It is more work but I don't mind if everyone likes it. |

| This Thursday, March 20th at 5:00 PM will be the official start of the season. Since the weather forecast is not great for this weekend, we will move the race to Thursday. Since we are starting so early in the evening, the first qualifier will be thrown out. This will give those of us that don't get off work till 5 to have a fair chance. Come check out the new track. events page. Check out who is going. Be sure to get your
name added to the list soon!!! Once the limit is reached, no more
entries will be taken. We will also be hosting a Missouri RC Pro race this year. As soon as I get more information and the flyer for this I will post. Also I want to remind everyone about the FREE ELECTRIC racing this year. This means no race fees for all electric classes. Steve has stated he will have a more 1/10 friendly race track this year to accommodate. |

Big News!!! This year instead of points season, we will have a weekly drawing after the races for the top placed drivers in each class. The details are subject to change, but it will go something like this:
Either the top three or top five will be placed into a drawing for credit to be used in the hobby store. If the top three are chosen, then 1st place will be given three tickets, 2nd place two tickets, and 3rd place 1 ticket. If the top five are chosen, then 1st place will be given five tickets for the drawing, 2nd place four tickets, 3rd place three tickets, 4th place two tickets, 5th place one ticket. One ticket will be drawn for the winner out of all the tickets. The amount of credit will depend on the number of drivers. 20 drivers for that class will yield $20 credit for the winner. If only 5 drivers, then the winner will get $5 credit. There will be a drawing for each class. Free Electric Class not eligible for drawing. |

FREE ELECTRIC RACING this year!!!!
That's right, you read it. Electric Racing at Steve's will be FREE
this year. Bring whatever electric powered vehicle you have and
race it around the track for free.
Official club racing will start first weekend in April. However we will be racing for fun in March as the weather permits. |
